Controversial Ghanaian musician Shatta Wale has revealed that he is voting massively for himself in order to win more awards at this year’s VGMA. has seen a post of Shatta Wale asking his fans to keep voting for him to win more at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA). He asked the fans to keep changing their SIM cards to enable them vote more for him.


Shatta Wale also revealed that he himself was voting massively so that he could win, especially, the Dancehall Artiste of the Year category which has his fierce rivals Samini and Stonebwoy in contention. He wrote: “Don’t just vote but change your SIM cards and vote hard cuz I am also doing that. Do that shatta movement ” Shatta Wale’s post comes on the heels of an earlier report by that he was voting for himself with 15 phones.

The report also revealed that Shatta Wale was busily buying recharge cards for his fans to vote for him. Now, his own post has confirmed the allegation and vindicated’s report. Meanwhile, Shatta Wale has been in the news for winning eight out of 11 nominations at the just ended 3Music Awards. He has also accused Stonebwoy’s manager Blakk Cedi, of being full of envy.


This is because, Blakk Cedi described the 3Music Award scheme as a joke as Stonebwoy only won three out of about nine nominations. Also, Shatta Wale made headlines when he unveiled a new lover after breaking up with his long-time girlfriend Michy. He was also in the news for saying that he allowed Michy to sleep with other men to raise money for him.
