Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has shared a rare photo he took with his ‘arch-rival,’ Stonebwoy.

The photo, according to sources, was taken during a meeting with an influential personality.

Advertisement gathers that the meeting was held on Wednesday to resolve the current fracas between them.

Shatta Wale shared the photo on his social media handles, sending microblogging sites into a frenzy.

“Unity is strength, Love is the key to many doors, Brotherhood is Loyalty, Peace is Freedom .. My brother and I got a great vision for Ghana music and we taking it to the world .. @stonebwoyb” Shatta Wale said.

Stonebwoy shared the same photo and said: “IF it be Possible As Far It Depends On You, Live Peaceably With All Men..

Romans 12:18

The Wise Shall Inherit Glory..

But Shame Shall Be The Promotion Of Fools..

Proverbs 3:35”

Stonebwoy’s manager Blakk Cedi also shared the same photo with the caption: “For The Motherland ????????”

Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy were arrested by the police on May 19 after a brawl between their camps at the 20th anniversary of the VGMA.

Pandemonium broke out shortly after Stonebwoy was announced the winner of ‘Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year’ when Shatta Wale and his team were seen going towards the stage, their intentions were unclear.

Shatta Wale, born Charles Nii Armah Mensah, later claimed that he was going on stage to congratulate Stonebwoy. The two artistes were later released on Monday, May 20 and appeared in court last Wednesday, May 22.

Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale, when they appeared in court last Wednesday, May 22 pleaded not guilty to Offensive Conduct to Breaches of the Peace following the scuffle at the Awards.

After the hearing, they were granted bail of ¢50,000 each with one surety and cautioned to be of good behaviour until the determination of the case.

They will re-appear in court on June 20.

Following the fracas, both artistes have been stripped of all the awards they won at the 20th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).

They have also been banned indefinitely by the organisers, Charterhouse.
