Africa Cup of Nations debutants, Madagascar played out a 2-2 draw with Guinea in the second game of group B at the Alexandria Stadium.
Sory Kaba gave Guinea the lead with an excellent strike in the 34 th minute to end the first half.
Madagascar came in strongly in the second half with two goals from Andrianantenaina and Andriamatsinoro
Kamano converted from the spot for Guinea in the 66th minute after Ibrahima Traore’s pace on the counter resulted in a desperate tackle from Romain Metanire.
The result means Nigeria tops Group B with three points.They return to action on June 26.
