Hearts of Oak Coach Kim Grant is elated at his side’s victory over Inter Allies.
Grant supervised his side as they returned to winning ways after losing to WAFA over the weekend.
The Rainbow Club returned to their favorite grounds and posted a 2-0 win over Inter Allies, thanks to two second half goals from defender Robert Addo and striker Joseph Esso.
Addo headed home a corner to give his side the lead after 58minutes before Esso doubled the lead with just 10minutes left to play.
“We are coming back from a defeat, the most important thing is for us to get a win. I got a great respect from the players” Grant said after the match.
“The game wasn’t exactly brilliant, but most importantly we kept a clean sheet. We got the win we needed and hopefully that will be a platform for us to carry up hopefully on Sunday”
Hearts of Oak will travel to Tema to play Inter Allies on Sunday in the second round of the NC Special Cup.
