Paul Dogboe, father of former WBO Super Bantamweight champion Isaac Dogboe remains optimistic his son will avenge defeat to Mexican boxer Emmnuel Navarrete on May 11.
The two will lock horns at the Convention Centre in Arizona, USA, in what proves to be an exciting encounter.
Dogboe lost on unanimous decision to Navarrete last year losing his title to the Mexican.
After months of intensive training, the two are set to engage each other in a re-match with Dogboe’s camp fully confident of victory.
“Team Dogboe shall rise again, smile again and dance again. If Isaac is fully fit, no one can stand him pound for pound in his division” Paul Dogboe said in a press conference.
Isaac Dogboe until his defeat to Emmanuel Navarrete had gone 22 matches without a loss.
The former Ghanaian Olympian must put in extra effort to overcome a strong Navarrete who holds a rich record of 26 wins and one loss in his 27 career bouts so far.
A win for Dogboe will see the Ghanaian reclaim his WBO Super Bantamweight title just five months after losing it.
