The Tourist Visa is issued to foreigners traveling to Slovakia for the purpose of sightseeing, recreation, and relaxation. People applying for this visa might have been invited by their friends and relatives residing in the country. An invitation from your host in the country is required. The letter should introduce the applicant and state the relationship between the applicant and the host. Tourists in the country are permitted to attend events and festivals that are of interest to them. A certificate the applicant’s medical doctor in Egypt stating the medical history of the patient and the kind of medical treatment needed by the applicant is required. An official document from the receiving medical institution in Slovakia confirming acceptance of the patient and confirming that it can perform the specific medical treatment needed should be provided. Any other correspondence between the sending medical doctor and the receiving medical institution should be made available. Proof of financial arrangement made is required. Minors applying for this visa are required to provide the original copy of their birth certificate during the visa application. Slovakia Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements
Foreigners who have the intention of studying in an academic institution in Slovakia are the eligible applicants of this visa. Applicants who have not been accepted into an academic institution in the country will not be issued this visa. Letter of admission from the institution the applicant has been accepted into should be provided. The letter should state the course the applicant has been accepted to study and the duration of the study programme. Certificates and transcripts gotten from the previously attended schools by the applicant should be provided. The applicant should provide a document from his/her local physician in Egypt stating that the applicant is in good health condition. Students are permitted to work for a part-time when school is in session and full-time when school is on break. This visa is valid for the duration of the study programme. Proof of sufficient means of subsistence is required. All requested documents have to be translated into English or Slovakian.
Slovakia Transit Visa Eligibility & Requirements
This visa enables foreigners traveling from one non-schengen country to another non-schengen country to pass through the schengen states. Applicants of the transit visa are required to be in possession of the visa and other entry permits of their destination country. Foreigners are expected to present the flight ticket to their destination country during the visa application process. Minors applying for this visa are required to present the original copy of their birth certificate. A letter of consent signed by both the parents of the child should be presented. You are not allowed to enroll in an academic institution or take up paid or unpaid employment. The transit period cannot exceed 5 days. Non-Egyptians applying for this visa from Egypt are required to provide a copy of their residence permit. All the documents to be submitted should be in English.
