Shatta Wale attacks Sarkodie in new single, ‘Y3koom’

Controversial dance hall heavyweight, Shatta Wale has dished out another spanking vibe which is set to make waves heading into the Christmas festivities.
As a follow up to the Reign album release and his new hit, My Level, Shatta Wale has linked up with producer, PAQ to deliver another commercially appealing song.

Dubbed Y3koom which primarily means keep quiet or possibly, shut up, Shatta Wale apparently sent a message to a rival.

In a video which surfaced online few weeks ago, Shatta Wale was heard descending on rapper, Sarkodie for previously attacking political leaders in songs. Occasionally, Sarkodie has indeed expressed his displeasure at the performance of politicians in songs such as Inflation, The Masses and Dumsor.

In Y3koom, Shatta Wale purportedly asks Sarkodie, his ‘advisor’, to shut up in that regard because he is unaware of the pressure politicians go through.

In the song, Shatta Wale also made mention of a character known as Kojo Konto. Monitoring the comments being made by most Shatta Wale fans on social media, it gives an indication that the name Kojo Konto has been coined for Sarkodie. Shatta Wale is noted for coining amusing names for his rivals in songs. In his hit single, Taking Over, he made use of the name Sergeant Lee, which was perceived to be for Stonebwoy.
