Nigerian entertainment stalwarts, Falz and Runtown, have waded in the outcry of Nigerians to disband SARS with a protest.

The peaceful protest which came off on Thursday, 8th October 2020, travelled to the doorstep of the Lagos State governor’s office. Despite the absence of the governor at the time, the Afrobeat stars and cohorts succeeded in making their concerns overtly known to the Lagos State police as they were present.

Falz in a statement to the police intimidated that another protest scheduled for Tuesday promises to be less peaceful unlike this one if no actionable steps are taken to end the reported gruesome shenanigans of SARS that have terrorized many on the streets of Nigeria.

A rather angered Falz declared his vehemence at ensuring that all culpable offices are duly prosecuted and ultimately fight till SARS is dissolved.
