Rawlings wants name cleared off “fake” Menzgold customers list

Former President Jerry John Rawlings has vehemently denied being a customer of Menzgold in the wake of a list circulation on social media purporting to be investments of notable individuals with Menzgold and suggests that the former President has an investment of GHS400,000.00 locked up at the embattled gold dealership firm.

Clearing his name in anger, Rawlings described the list as “silly” and bemoaned why Menzgold keeps sitting aloof to make any official announcement to declare the list null and void.

“Shouldn’t Menzgold be reacting to this silly list making the rounds on social media? I do not have a stash anywhere to waste on questionable ventures and doubt others on the list involved themselves in this mess,” He tweeted.

He maintained he does not invest in questionable ventures and there was no way he would invest in Menzgold.
