Lotto forecasters and punters who rely on the website of the National Lottery Authority (NLA) for lotto results and other information would have to look elsewhere as the authority’s website has gone offline for almost a week now.
Asembi.com can confirm that the NLA had little control over the website which might have prevented them from having it back online.
The NLA.COM.GH domain which was registered by one Joelon Johnson of Ghana Electrometer in 2011 has been shut down for unknown reasons.
Asembi.com has gathered that neither the NLA nor the Ministry of Finance has full control over the website since its domain is privately owned.

It has not yet been established if the website went offline for NLA’s inability to pay hosting charges or the owners of the domain name are making some demands.
It has also not been established why a whole NLA that operates under the Ministry of Finance would have its website’s domain name registered in the name of an employee of Ghana Electrometer, a company that deals in Electricity Meters.
Further checks by Asembi.com revealed that the website was co-managed by Frigo Ghana Limited, a refrigeration company.
