On Sunday, a vigil was held by worried and caring people of Sekondi-Takoradi for the three missing girls who were reported kidnapped last year.
People went through streets, holding candles and lamps, gathered at on street led by Skyy Christian Radio
Department prayed uncontrollably to seek God’s help on the kidnapping issues arising in Sekondi-Takoradi.
Hundreds of residents were present.
The vigil was to wake the police up of their “poor and slow service”.
According to the police, only three girls have been reported missing, but information from residents of Sekondi-Takoradi reaching Asembi.com indicate that about eight girl/ladies are missing since last year.
According to some resident who were present, Takoradi was a peaceful and a safer place to be but its no more.
