Argentina forward Lionel Messi won his sixth European Golden Shoe with 36 La Liga goals for Spanish champions Barcelona.
The European Golden Shoe is awarded to the player with the most league goals in any of Europe’s top-flight leagues.

The 31-year-old now has six European Golden Shoes followed by Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo who has four.
