MENZGOLD SAGA: Customers In Tarkwa Hit The Streets To Demand Their Locked Monies

Aggrieved customers of the embattled gold firm, Menzgold at Tarkwa in the Western region have taken to the street again to demonstrate over their locked-up cash.

The customers were clad in black and red with placards marched through the street of Tarkwa demanding answers from the government.

The aggrieved customers were calling on the government to help them retrieve their locked-up cash as it was their only source of income.

Also, the customers had placards with interesting inscriptions such as “Otumfuo bring back the gifts from NAM1”, “Where is Chief Imam”, “2020 we go show Nana” and several others.

According to the demonstrators, they are disappointed in the ruling government over their failure in recovering their lost monies.

However, the embattled CEO of Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah popularly known as NAM1 is allegedly in the hands of the Security officers in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) regarding a gold scam.

The Economic and Organised Crime Office has frozen all accounts of NAM1 and is under investigation for defrauding by false pretence.
