Ace journalist, Kwame Sefah Kayi of Peace Fm has said that Ghanaians must boldly tell Menzgold customers that they won’t get back their money and stop helping them build false hopes.
According to him, though it is a painful experience the customers are going through, Ghanaians must stop building false hopes that they will get back their money because it is irretrievable. He added that Menzgold is like lottery or gambling where you either lose or win so the customers must take it as it is.
“Menzgold customers must have it in mind that their money is gone and won’t be retrieved. They must stop building false hopes because what they invested in is just like lottery, you either lose or win”, he said.
He made this statement in a conversation with Dan Kweku Yeboah on Peace FM.
A lot has been said about the Menzgold brouhaha since it surfaced but Kwame Sefah Kayi believes that the government cannot be forced to pay Customers but Bank of Ghana and Security and Exchange Commission must be dealt with for allowing such a business to operate in Ghana.
The Ghana Police told Ghanaians that Nana Appiah Mensah is in Dubai facing trials and will be apprehended after he (NAM1) has resolved issues with the Dubai Police.
