Belgium and Manchester United forward Romelu Lukaku has revealed it would be a dream to play in Italian Serie A before he retires from professional football.
Lukaku moved from Anderlecht to Chelsea in 2011 as a teenager for about €20 million. He has played for Everton and West Bromwich Albion, prior to moving to Manchester United in 2017.
The 25-year-old has indicated he dreams of playing in Italy’s top flight though his focus is at Old Trafford.
“Playing in Serie A is a dream, it would be really a dream,”
“I hope to be able to play sooner or later, even if at the moment I am focused on United.” He told Sky Italia.
Lukaku has made 41 appearances and scored 15 goals for United in all competitions so far this season.
