Wizkid’s manager and baby mama, Jada Pollock, has hailed the singer after he featured in an American fashion and lifestyle magazine, Vogue Magazine.
Wizkid during his interview with the magazine spoke about his fourth studio album, ‘Made In Lagos’ which he released last year. The album featured guest appearances from British artists Skepta and Ella Mai, American R&B singer H.E.R , Jamaican artists Projexx and Damian Marley, and Nigerian artists Burna Boy, Tems, Tay Iwar and Terri.
Reacting to Wizkid appearance in the magazine, Jada P stated that greatness is one thing people cannot rush. She mentioned that Wizkid is always so effortless when it comes to doing great things.
“Greatness is something you can’t rush! @wizkidayo always so effortless”.
Within one week of release, Made in Lagos broke several African streaming records. It became the first African album to debut on the Spotify Global Album chart, and within the top ten at that. The album surpassed 100 million streams across five platforms nine days after release, a huge milestone for an Afro-pop artist.
