Through the data made available by Spotify, we ultimately got to know that Sarkodie is Ghana’s biggest artiste, followed by Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy in that order.

But since obia wo ne master, Sarkodie only ‘reigned’ in Ghana and not Africa.

Ice Prince got the number one spot in the most streamed African rapper list, by getting 19 million streams and 1 million hours of music listening this year.

However popular South African Rapper Nasty C tallied behind and had 17 Million Streams, Ghanaian Rapper Sarkodie had 9 Million Streams on Spotify for the year 2018.

Spotify is a digital music, podcast, and video streaming service that gives you access to millions of songs and other content from artists all over the world.
