Gospel musician, Ohemaa Mercy in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM has backed President Nana Addo to build the National Cathedral as he promised God in 2016.

Ohemaa Mercy sharing her view on whether or not the Cathedral should be built said:

“It’s about time we build a house for God. We need to acquire a house in Ghana for God to live in. Let’s build the National Cathedral.”

According to Ohemaa Mercy, Ghana needs to acknowledge the presence of God and for that matter, there is the need to raise a magnificent building to His Glory.

The majority of Ghanaians have raised concerns about the president’s decision to build a National Cathedral but the president insists that the Cathedral will be built at all cost to honour God.
