The journey to enthrone 2020 Ghana’s most beautiful commenced on Sunday 21st June 2020, with the broadcast of the first episode on TV3.

The audition judges who also doubled up as celebrities; Lydia Forson, Prince David Osei, Salma Mumin and Adjetey Anang did have a torrid time during the selection process of the sixteen contestants but just like a pregnant woman, all the pain experienced prior to birthing the child disappears the moment the child is successfully delivered.

The sixteen ladies who were selected as the representatives of the various regions will battle it out for the crown. They’ll do this by displaying their talents and the culture which emanates from their regions. It will be a worthwhile journey of artistic impressions. Here’s all you need to know about the sixteen contestants;


Ayanji is representing the newly created Oti region.

The name is Bonney Janet Akua. She is 24 years. Her hobbies are dancing and cooking. She loves putting smiles on the faces of others. She is a nurse and comes from a family of six.


Adjoa is representing the newly created Western North region.

The name is Regina Ofori. She is 26 years. Her hobbies are cooking, dancing and singing. She hails from Sefwi Bekwai. Her philosophy is to make improvements, not excuses.


Maali is representing the Upper West region.

The name is Molly Maalinuo Dasoberi. She is 20 years old. She loves to listen to people and is skilled in adapting to circumstances. She believes in the confident pursuit of one’s dream. Her hobbies are reading, swimming and dancing.


Ofosua is representing the Eastern region.

The name is Anim Maame Ofosuaah. She is 24 years. Her hobbies are reading, watching movies and listening to music. She strongly believes that everyone is born with a purpose.


Afia is representing the Bono region.

The name is Stella Afia Sarpomaa Ampadu. She is 21 years and loves working out, listening to music and cooking. She comes from Kato.


Asaa is representing the Bono East Region.

The name is Maame Ama Asaah Yeboah. She is 26 years and works as a Procurement Officer. She loves to read, watch basketball and cook. Her life’s guiding principle is; “beauty without a skill or career is meaningless”.


Abena is representing the Ahafo region.

The name is Abena Antwiwaa Dapaah Diana. She is 23 years and works as a Medical Laboratory Technologist. Her hobbies are public speaking, acting and listening to music. She abhors child abuse and always advocates for the rights of children.


GMB 2020 Zuzu Northern Region

Zuzu is representing the Northern region.

The name is Tracy Zuweira Abdul Wahab. She is 25 years and loves cooking, reading and watching soccer. She believes that “life presents us with greater opportunities that make this world a better place”.


GMB 2020 Zuzu Northern Region

Yennube is representing the North East region.

The name is Yennube Samira Kombat. She is 27 years. Her hobbies are reading and cooking. She hails from Bimbagu. She has a passion for girl-child education.


GMB 2020 Abiba Savannah Region

Abiba is representing the Savannah region.

The name is Christiana Abibata Gabby-Hayes. She is a businesswoman and is 27 years old. She loves sports, cooking, acting, reading and surfing the internet. She is married and has daughter. She has also travelled widely within Ghana. She is ambitious and is always on the lookout for opportunities.


GMB 2020 Talata Upper East Region

Talata is representing the Upper East region.

 The name is Dobil Mmabil Talata Sandra. She is 22 years and loves to act, read and dance. She comes from Damologu in the Nabdan district but presently stays in Tema. She aspires to be a lawyer and loves Tuozafi and Beti.


Kafui is representing the Volta region.

The name is Freeman Matilda Makafui. She is 24 years. Her hobbies are poetry, singing and playing volleyball. Her favourite food is banku with okro soup. She believes that if it must be done, it must be done well.


Naa is representing the Greater Accra region.

The name is Naa Dedei Botchwey. She is 28 years and is into social media management. Her hobbies are reading and sightseeing. She loves surmounting challenges because that keeps her growing.


Efua is representing the Western region.

The name is Lydia Efua Wilson. She is 22 years and a final year student at the Accra Technical University. Her hobbies are cooking, reading, listening to music, watching movies and documentary. She is proud of her heritage and she works hard for what she believes in.


Afriyie is representing the Central region.

The name is Mercy Afua Fiankobea Nartey. She is 28 years and was born in Tarkwa. She loves giving, cooking reading and singing.


Achiaa is representing the Ashanti region.

The name is Bridget Gyamena. She is 24 years. Her hobbies are reading, listening to music and writing. She hails from Kona which is located in the Sekyere South District. She is obsessed with her black skin.
