Did Shatta Wale and Sarkodie plan beef as means of paying for Strongman-Shatta collabo?

Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale and Hiplife star Sarkodie have dominated the media space over the last couple of days after the former attacked the latter during a radio interview on Hitz FM.

The issue degenerated further with Shatta Wale even going ahead to call Sarkodie ‘a fool’ in follow up videos he made after the interview. Later it was reported that Sarkodie was in the studio recording a diss song for the dancehall artist, a report we cannot authoritatively confirm.

While many have condemned Shatta Wale and his unprovoked attacks on Sarkodie, Asembi.com has enough reasons to suspect that all this is a planned beef as part of strategies to promote Sarkcess Music signee, Strongman’s upcoming project which features Shatta Wale.

Signals picking by Asembi.com indicate that the beef is the ‘cash’ Shatta Wale is receiving for featuring on Strongman’s song. Shatta Wale fighting Sarkodie is undoubtedly the best way to take over the media ahead of the release of his Reign album.

Shatta Wale in the same interview in which he attacked Sarkodie also revealed that he has been featured on Strongman’s upcoming project, with work still in progress, a statement which raise suspicions of a planned beef.

For Shatta Wale who isn’t in good terms with Sarkodie and beefing him to be featured on a track by Strongman, an artiste under the label of the Painkiller hitmaker, will make an interesting plot.

This could all be part of the marketing strategy to help promote the song and it won’t be the first time such planned and well-orchestrated beef has taken place in the entertainment world as it is so often used to promote upcoming projects.

In years to come where Sarkodie and Shatta Wale engage in real fights, screenshots of their conversations on this whole issue are expected to hit the media just as they it happened with Kwaw Kese and Shatta Wale.
