Comedian Mr Macaroni Arrested By Police At The Lekki Toll Gate

There has been a video circulating on social media that shows that popular Nigerian comedian, Mr Macaroni has been by the Nigerian police force.

The comedian was arrested at the Lekki Toll Gate after he joined in the #OccupyLekkiToll Gate protest organised by Nigerians to avoid the reopening of the gate.

According to Nigerians, the Lekki Toll Gate should remain closed because all investigations on the happenings during the ENDSARS protest has not been completed yet.

If readers will recall, in October last year, Nigerians staged a protest against the government to as a matter of urgency, ENDSARS operations in the country to avoid the killing and brutalization of the youth. This protest led to the killing of some protester while some go injured in the process.

After the incident on October 20, investigations started into the case but, has not been completed yet and hence, citizens are against the reopening of the gate.
