Cameroonian Singer, Dencia Calls Yemi Alade A Village Girl (Photo)

Cameroonian-born singer and entrepreneur, Reprudencia Sonkey better known as Dencia, has taken a swipe at award-winning Afrobeat singer, Yemi Alade, the Nigerian music queen.


The Cameroonian fashion designer and singer, Dencia is well known for her constant criticism of Nigerian celebrities. In her recent post, she took to Twitter to send a good morning message to everyone but excluded some people.


Dencia excluded failed governments, terrorists, actress Lupita Nyong’o and Yemi Alade among others, from her greetings. She went on to label the Nigerian singer as a ‘village girl’ because they had a banter a few years ago. According to Dencia, Yemi Alade and others have tried her for the past 25 years but she always triumphant over them.
