Brazil Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements
A Brazilian business visa is offered to Mauritanian business persons who are travelling to Brazil for business-related matters such as meetings, closing deals, purchase of merchandise, conferences on evaluation of existing contract, discussions for possible investments, media coverage, and filming. Business visas can be legitimate for multiple entries during the period determined by the Embassy/ Consulate. For a person to be validated for Brazil’s business visa, he or she must present a letter stating the invitation of a company, nature of the trip, duration of the stay and set-up on the payment of expenses during the business trip. The Brazilian Business Visa is valid for 90 days. The Brazilian Business Visa is of Multiple entries at the charge of $160.00 for Mauritanians. Your passport should have at least six months of validity left on it and at least one blank page for visa stamps. Keep in mind that the last two pages of your passport are not visa pages. If you are unclear whether a page in your passport is a visa page, check to see if it says “visa” at the top. Foreigners need to know that the length of their Brazilian Business visa will depend upon the nature of the business to be conducted. Some people business travellers are granted long-duration Brazil visas that are good for ten years. In most cases, though, Brazil will issue short-duration business visas that are valid for 30-90 days. Regardless of the duration of your visa, you will only be allowed to stay in Brazil for up to 90 days per year on business. Foreigners are expected to leave the country before or at the expiration of their visa duration. The Business visa form must be filled in English or Portuguese language.

Brazil Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements
The Brazilian Tourist Visa is issued to Mauritanians who wish to travel to the country for the purpose of tourist activities such as sightseeing, visiting family or friends, vacation, and relaxation. Brazil tourist visa is a short duration visa of 30 days. The validity of the Tourist visa is 90 days per year with the option of Multiple entries. The visa is issued to a foreign traveller who wishes to visit the country for tourist purposes only, and the holder of this visa will not be liable to any form of employment in the country. The Visa is issued at $160.00 only for Multiple-entry visa holders. Any delay in the issuance of the visa after 30 days of visa processing time, might be as a result of invalid information contained in the body of the application form or improper filling of the form. The Brazilian consulate does not issue visa to applicants with any form of airborne or communicable diseases. The Business visa is activated on the date of the Mauritanian first entry into Brazil. Algerian nationals travelling on this visa will require an International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever if you have traveled to any of the Yellow Fever infested countries within the last 90 days preceding your travel. People are expected to leave the country at the end of their authorized stay. Tourists that are applying for this visa are required to provide a valid passport and their passport must have a validity of at least 6 months. They must have a copy of your completed Tourist visa application form. You must provide proof of your confirmed hotel reservation, flight bookings and travel itinerary for the entire duration of your stay in Brazil. Provision of a copy of your round-trip or tour ticket must be tender to the Brazilian consulate or embassy in Mauritania. You must provide proof of your financial ability so as to support yourself financially during your stay in Brazil and for your return transportation. Brazil requires visitors to have at least USD 100 per day for staying in Brazil.
