Menzgold, a gold trading company that was thriving so well since its inception has sank in a deep mess after the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) ordered it to halt its operations and all Ghanaians now see the ‘evil’ in the CEO Nana Appian Mensah after enjoying his wealth with him.
Most of the entertainment personalities who were signed onto the Zylofon Media have kept mute about the situation despite endorsing Menzgold to make it look so lucrative.
Award wining musician, Becca who was also signed onto the label has deleted all photos of Nana Appiah Mensah and Zylfon Media indicating that she no longer want to have anything with the brand and its CEO. Becca can obviously be described as the Judas of our time because NAM1 was her close friend and we didn’t expect her to betray him so soon.
Actress Lydia Forson says that politicians and key personalities in the country made Menzgold so attractive, convincing the ordinary Ghanaian to invest in it because they trust such people.
She added that the customers shouldn’t be blamed as people feel they are greedy and didn’t pay attention to BoG’s warnings.
According to her, she was even tempted to join the number of industry players who were rubbing shoulders with NAM1 because she couldn’t afford to let them enjoy the money alone but stopped after thinking about it carefully.
She emphasized that the people who endorsed the company said so many things about BoG’s warnings making it look like it was a deliberate attempt to destroy a young successful man.
Although NAM1 is out of the country, the Police have said records at the airport indicate otherwise.
Here’s the thing, Menzgold ran a pretty good media campaign.⁰The company was endorsed by high profile celebrities, the CEO rubbed shoulders with some of the most important people, including politicians in the country. https://t.co/ERQ3x539aT
