Black Stars, Captain Asamoah Gyan is facing difficult times in Turkey as his career is gradually collapsing in the European nation.
Gyan after joining Turkish side Kayserispor in the summer of 2017 has struggled to nail down a starting position in the team, managing just a start and a goal in the whole of last season.

Injury did not also help matters as the prolific striker spent most part of the season in the treatment room.
His lackluster performance did not go down well with the Kayserispor supporters who have since put pressure on the club to do away with Ghana’s all time top scorer.
As a result, Asamoah Gyan had to accept a pay cut and now takes home €30,000 a month compared to the €150,000 plus a week he used to earn in UAE before moving to the Turkish side.

According to reports, Kayserispor is in the hunt for a new striker ahead of the 2018/19 season with the club convinced they cannot rely on the Black Stars skipper in the coming season.
Asamoah Gyan has therefore found himself in a race to save his own career in Turkey.
